The same goes for if you change as a person it’s okay if you’re not the same person you were 2 years ago, I know I’m definitely not. Changing and change can be a scary thing in the moment but once you’ve jumped over that hurdle you won’t regret it and you’ll look back and wonder why was I so afraid? So why do people not enjoy change and why are we so afraid of it? Honestly, I’m a creature of habit so the idea of having to change my routine isn’t something I enjoy but once it’s done I’m usually pretty happy with it and settled after a while. I am constantly changing, I’m not the same person I was 5 years ago and I’m also not the same person I was 5 months ago, change is not something that should be shunned it’s the opposite change should be encouraged. Now I’m not meaning changing how you look or who you are for the benefit of other people that isn’t what I’m encouraging, I’m encouraging growing up and changing more mature and becoming the person, you want to be.I change my mind just as often as I change my socks, so more than once a day most days. Whether you want to change to university course you’re on, the place you’re living, your job or anything that’s in your life that you want to change. Last year I was super conflicted about whether I wanted to change my course or stay on the one I’m now, spoiler alert I chose to stay on the course I’m on now and I’m still enjoying it (well most of it). Deciding if changing my course was the best thing for my career was difficult especially the disappointment that I thought was attached to it if I had to start university all over again, but it turns out that thousands of people choose to do this every year and there’s nothing wrong with that.I hope you enjoyed today’s blog post!
