October Goals.

Well, September just flew by. We’re officially in the final quarter of 2018 and I can’t help but feel like it was just New Year a few weeks ago! With my first 3 weeks of uni going surprising well, except an extremely life draining cold that I’m just getting over.

Recently I’ve been feeling reflective and super motivated to better myself, with my anxiety doing a lot better than it has been in the past I’m feeling really optimistic about my 3rd year at university.

I see Autumn almost like a new Spring, with the chance to turn over a new leaf and leave all negative energy in the past and focus on making the last months of 2018 great.

A decluttered life is a decluttered mind.

Whenever a new season comes around I always like to declutter my things down, because realistically how many material things does one person need? I like to go through my clothes, what fits? what do I not wear anymore? and then all that usually goes to the charity shop. Taking the time out to go through your things and just de-clutter, in general, is so important. With stress levels high and university work harder than its ever been before it so important for me to not feel cluttered or messy.

My self-care is important.

Since starting back at university it’s almost as if I’d forgotten about self-care, taking time out of my day to take care of myself. This can be small things like taking a long shower/ bath to unwind or putting on a facemask while watching a film. I have always been quite an introverted person and I do really enjoy me-time, moving in with my partner recently this year was an adjustment, to say the least. But I do still find the time when he’s out to watch the TV shows I like, spend time pampering myself and just enjoying being alone.

Rediscovering my love for blogging.

As you are probably well aware these last few months I haven’t been the best at keeping up to date with my blog and it has been a mixture of things: life events, writing block and just general procrastination. With all the success of my last blog post, I feel like I’ve finally found my blogging mojo again. I’ve been blogging now for 4 years now and honestly, I can’t believe I’ve only been blogging for 4 years it feels like longer! As much as I enjoy university and I’m excited to see where life takes me after, I love blogging and will always have a special place for it in my heart.
