November Goals.

Christmas is literally next month and I can’t even cope with how quick this year has gone by, I was just in sunny Budapest a few months and now it’s cold and rainy and with Christmas only 6 weeks away! Even with time slipping away from me I’m still excited for an extremely busy month with the lead up to Christmas.

This month is a busy month for university work and trying to get everything done in order to get work done before Christmas. Exciting blog stuff is happening this month and trying to find a spare minute to write posts and shoot looks. Here are a few of my goals while all this chaos is going on:

Making a plan and sticking to it!

I’m usually extremely organised and I know what I’m doing and when but recently with work and deadlines starting to get a little crazy I’ve been swaying from my schedule. If you’ve known me over the last few years you’ll know that If I’m stressed I will usually go into ‘anything other mode’ and by this I mean I will try and do any other piece of work than the one that I’m struggling with. So my goal for this month is to stick to my plan once I’ve made it rather than causing myself more stress.

Being positive isn’t always the easiest choice.

With a mixture of university deadline, job interviews, blog stuff and Christmas being literally only right around the corner it is pretty easy to get caught up in the negative mindset of becoming sad and stressed. But it is so important to keep a positive mind and look on the bright side, trust me I know this is easier said than done. Life is short, with only a few moments of happiness so it’s important to live your life and not to stress about small things.

A tidy house in a tidy mind.

It’s so easy to get caught up with work and everything and to just forget about your home and its upkeep, this is what has happened with me recently. I’ve fallen into this habit of coming home throwing my clothes on the floor shoving my PJs on and just leaving my mess everywhere, living in a small studio with another person this can be tricky as its so easy to mess up a small space. My goal for this month is to just take 10 minutes out of my day to just tidy up and keep my working and relaxing environment both tidy and clean, this way (hopefully) my mind then feels less cluttered and messy.

That’s pretty much all my goals for this month ahead, do you guys set yourself monthly goals? If so let me know what they are in the comments section below, and please don’t forget to like and subscribe to my blog so you don’t miss a post of mine!

It’s WAY too easy to let your home organization get forgotten while you’re busy with work and other things! I agree (: good luck with your goals
